About The Old Ceremony:
The Old Ceremony draws plays lush, literate rock.
With eight years of touring the US, Canada, and Europe and five albums under their belt, the Durham/Chapel Hill, NC band occupies its own darkly lit corner of the musical world. It is a corner filled with ominous rumblings and world-weary but hopeful characters. TOC has performed with CAKE, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Chuck Berry, Polyphonic Spree, Mountain Goats, and Avett Brothers, and was included in PASTE Magazine’s “Top 100 Albums of 2006.” Their newest album, Fairytales and Other Forms of Suicide, was released Aug 21, 2012 on Yep Roc Records.

About Stephaniesid:
Stephaniesid, born in 2004, lives in Asheville, NC and makes pop music for “the darkness in you that’s trying to find the light.” The band possesses remarkable technical prowess, lending all the proper tools needed to create well-crafted songs and beautiful recordings. The music explores both the melancholy and triumph of human life and love, the players equally faithful stewards of large, intoxicating swells and infectious, danceable melodies. Recordings affix weepy synthesizers, vibraphone lines, guitars, thick bass notes, quirky keyboard sounds, a horn section, and coquettish, curly, tenacious female vocals. The live show is unabashed energy funneled through Iowa-birthed and Texas-raised former gymnast Stephanie Morgan (vox, guitar, synth), southerner Chuck Lichtenberger (keys/vox/bass pedals), and Maine-born Tim Haney (drums), and a collective cast of other players.

About Antique Firearms:
Antique Firearms is an amalgamation of tastes, influences, and proclivities toward experimentation, but there are also certain consistencies that serve as a foundation to the sound. There’s a moody, atmospheric quality and a velvety lushness that underscores each song, whether the tempo is a twangy waltz or a languid rocker.

The dynamic nature of the band’s sound has lead them to be compared to the likes of ‘My Morning Jacket’ and a southern-fried version of ‘Radiohead’. That along with their blistering live performance has been creating quite a buzz in the southeast.
