Here’s the Facebook event page for the New Belgium neighborhood meeting:

Please join the newly formed East West Asheville Neighborhood Association and the City of Asheville to discuss public infrastructure projects coordinated with the future New Belgium Brewing facility locating in West Asheville on the river.

This meeting is to share and discuss information on traffic impacts, public process and timelines with the new road projects planned for Craven Street/Hazel Mill/Emma Rd, plus Beecham’s Curve, and the I-240 Interchange at Haywood Road.

There will be brief presentations from the City of Asheville and opportunities for Question + Answer. NC DOT has also been invited to attend.

Truck traffic is a major concern for folks who live in West Asheville, and East/West Asheville, the neighborhood that sits closer to the Craven Street site where New Belgium plans to build its new East Coast brewery. Jen has begun a series of posts about the traffic impact of the brewery for Ashvegas.
