Happy fall, y’all! Check out our roundup of fun stuff happening this weekend, including LEAF and the Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands and more.

-The annual fall edition of LEAF at Lake Eden in Black Mountain

-The Southern Highland Craft Fair at the US Cellular Center in downtown Asheville

– The Be Be Theatre hosts NC Dance Festival, which brings three shows on Friday and Saturday from Chris Yon with Taryn Griggs, the JOYEMOVEMENT Dance Company, Natalie Marron, Megan Payne, and Matt Pardo.


Spoiler Alert! at Habitat Tavern and Commons will screen Terror is a Man with live commentary from local comedians Chesney Goodson and Justin Blackburn, and host James Harrod. $5 includes popcorn. Audience participation encouraged. 8-10 pm.
-Celebrate Diwali at MG Road from 5 t9:30. This Indian festival of lights is one of the biggest most joyous and most celebrated holidays in IndiaMG Road will offer specials, including lamb vindaloo, vegan thali ,pani puri ,and special desserts.


-Woodfin’s first craft brewery, Zillicoah Brewing, holds its soft opening.


-Start celebrating Halloween by checking out a couple of haunted attraction set-ups around town. Tormented Nightmares is a new one in Black Mountain. Pinhead’s Graveyard is an annual fave.


Poetry Cabaret at The Altamont Theatre blends original spoken-word poetry with music, comedy, burlesque.
