The Wall that Heals, a half-size replica of the Vietnam Memorial, made a stop in Swannanoa last week out at Gene Lumus Harley Davidson. The replica was set up out in an open field, and drew school students, family members who lost loved ones in the war and veterans. It was actually quiet a somber, moving memorial, as replicas go. Of course, the real deal is in Washington, and if you’ve never been, you need to go. But for those who’ve never been, the Wall that Heals is a great tribute. Hope you caught it.
