The funky rock and blues band the Royal We has kicked around the Southeast since 2001 and is just starting to reach beyond its regional roots. The group’s barroom energy, tight guitar, and rhythms are enhanced by clever, sardonic lyrics, written mostly by band founder, frontman, and singer Chris Tanfield.
