The Carolina Stompers, the local conservative group with a flair for the dramatic, has announced that it’s hiring. The group says it wants to hire reporters to offer news with no spin, no slant; that’s an odd statement coming from a group with an obvious agenda. I caught this via Thunderpig and his great round-up of recent conservative blog posts.
It sounds like the Stompers are readying to launch the group and its Web site into a big new phase. Should be interesting to watch. On the progressive side of things, Gordon and the gang at Scrutiny Hooligans are also talking up big changes to their Web site.
Sounds like everybody’s brushing up for a big new year.

The Carolina Stompers is hiring! We are looking for 2 individuals to report local news. You must be a people person with a sense of humor, able to use a video camera, and resourceful. You must report the truth, with no spin or slant. Hired reporters will also report on a conservative commentary TV show and will be asked questions of what he or she has reported. We will eventually be hiring a reporter for each school district in Buncombe County.
Our new studio is almost complete and soon we will be ready to show a different perspective of local news. The Carolina Stompers is widely known for our conservative commentary, opinion, and humor. We welcome any challengers to our conservative commentary of non biased news that we report.
