The restaurant/bar is beautiful and is exactly what Grove Park needed to stay on top of the craft beers and gastropub food trends that are happening in Asheville. With all the great options, try something more exciting than a burger (however the duck fat fries with it are awesome) – the pork porterhouse and the scotch quail eggs are to die for. Price point wise… This is still a resort and all their outlets are priced accordingly. I think it’s a great opportunity for Grove Park and for Ashville. I hear they are changing their menus frequently to stay local and seasonal. I say way to go Grove Park and Chef Jake Schmidt!

I thought you were joking until I downloaded the menu. If I’m paying through the nose for dinner, it’s going to be at The Capital Grille.

I know, right? Family of four, burgers and a Cheerwine $92 plus tax and gratuity! I’m laughing like hell just typing this because its so ridiculous.
