New Year’s Eve parties in Asheville; say goodbye to 2013 and welcome ’14

There are all kinds of ways to ring in the new year. Here’s a quick look at New Year’s Eve parties in an around Asheville. Say goodbye to 2013 and give ’14 a big ol’ hello smooch.

-Tiger Mountain Thirst Parlour: The party begins at 9 pm and proceeds from the $5 cover will go to fund Asheville FM’s $1,400 in licensing fees for 2014.

-Desoto Lounge: DJ Nina Rajagopalan of Sonic Latitude, Ethan “Lovebird Jewels” of Smoke Signals, and DJ Magic Slug.

-All Souls Pizza: All Souls is offering a pre-fix menu with an optional Noble Cider pairing. The restaurant will be tasting three yet-to-be-released ciders and toasting with their classic. Individuals that partake in both the dinner and the pairing will also receive a Noble Cider glass! The menu will be offered from 5 p.m. to midnight, and the restaurant will be open until 1 a.m.

-Ben’s Tune-Up: An explosive dance party w/ DJ Rob… Midnight Sake Toast… Debauchery…no cover.

-Thirsty Monk at Biltmore Park: Big-time fun with a keg dropping like the big ball on Times Square at midnight.
