A new West Asheville ice cream shop opened this month at 328 New Leicester Highway behind Zaxby’s. From its Facebook page:
Chillin’ Out! Ice Cream Plus in West Asheville is a happy place for the whole family with over 30 flavors of ice cream, delightful treats, sundaes, milkshakes, floats, smoothies, and also features Organic Local Coffee from Beanwerks Coffee Roasters in West Asheville, The store is full of comfortable couches, plenty of tables and chairs, a pleasant environment, and plenty of free parking!
The shop serves Hershey’s ice cream, milkshakes, smoothies, floats and organic, locally roasted coffee. According to the website, espresso drinks are coming soon.
