Mr. Frog’s Soul and Creole Kitchen is set to open on Wednesday on South Market Street, in a downtown Asheville area known as The Block. The restaurant is the work of Vijay Shastri. Read a little more background here.
The opening follows the opening of a couple of new restaurants in downtown Asheville this year, including Strada and Baja Cafe. Chai Pani is planning an expansion that should be open in a few months, and Creperie Bouchon recently opened with a new full bar and better HVAC. Can’t beat that courtyard setting.
