Actually, Jeff, the MAV festival grew out of the church parking lot a number of years ago. It now goes down both sides of Alexander Plaza, and takes up a couple of parking lots in addition.
A wonderful way to spend a few hours listening to many local favorite bands while cruising through the unique arts, crafts, and food booths of area businesses.
You know, like how the Sourwood Festival used to be.
Heck, they even have a couple of websites now!
Hope to see a lot of folks out at the festival, enjoying some beautiful weather, good music, and supporting the community.
Maybe we’ll even see Jeff there. He’ll be the one with the pencil in his ear.
Nothing says good time party like a day in the parking lot of the First Baptist Church.
I’d rather spend the day poking out my eardrums repeatedly with a pencil.
