Megan Schiering, a reporter for KATC in Louisiana, will join WLOS on March 8 as the station’s new morning reporter. Let’s all welcome the newest WLOSer. (Thanks to the Ashvegas tipster who gave me the heads up on this. You know who you are.)
More on Schiering here:
Megan Schiering joined the KATC news team in January of 2008 as a weekday 10 o’clock reporter.
She comes to KATC from the NBC affiliate in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she served as a reporter and Assistant Sports producer at WLWT-TV.
The Cincinnati, Ohio native graduated from Hanover College with a degree in Communications. While at Hanover, she Co-Anchored and Co-Produced a bi-weekly news program which aired on the campus station. She was also a member of the Student Broadcasting Association and Phi Mu Sorority.
Megan is thrilled to have the opportunity to work and live here and looks forward to experiencing everything Acadiana has to offer.
When Megan’s not working she is spending time with family and friends.

We sure miss her here in Lafayette. Good luck up there Megan.
I really like seeing her tell me stories!
I am sorry Megan left Acadiana….she was a good reporter here and very easy on the eyes. Good luck up there!
This means Leigh Ann Long is leaving? Or has she already left?
