How Asheville businesses can connect with Mountain Oasis music fest attendees

Some good info here from the Asheville Downtown Association. Here’s how local businesses can capitalize on the October Mountain Oasis Electronic Music Summit. Wednesday’s meet-up for business folks was lightly attended, event though Ashley Capps of AC Entertainment was hand. Capps’ message was simple: he wants his festival-goers to take advantage of all the cool stuff about Asheville, not just the music events. Capps is unabashed about his love of Asheville, and he clearly wants others to know about its mountain trails, its great restaurants and all the rest.

Anyway, here’s the info:

BINGO: Select businesses will be featured on two BINGO cards. BINGO cards will be distributed to participating businesses and available for download from the Mountain Oasis website. Both local residents and festival attendees will be encouraged to visit BINGO businesses to receive a stamp. Once the card has four stamps, participants will receive 25% off Mountain Oasis merchandise and be entered to win special prizes including invites to private shows.

Trick or Treat Program: Area businesses are invited to offer a special discount for attendees, create Mountain Oasis-inspired food or drink specials and/or extend their hours to offer late night dining to attendees.

Window Display Contest: Show off your creative side and decorate your store front to encourage attendees to visit your business. Mountain Oasis will provide a graphics package to participating businesses that can be used to create banners, window art/graphics, etc… The winning business will receive two VIP passes to the 2014 festival.

Benefits:

  • Inclusion on official festival mobile app with pin showing location and offer
  • Inclusion on activities page at www.mountainoasisfestival.com with link
  • Programs will be included in newsletters to Mountain Oasis subscribers
  • Promotion through Mountain Oasis social media channels including Facebook (37K+ fans) and Twitter (7K+ followers)
