Avett Brothers e-mail presale tickets, which went on sale at noon, sold out at 12:03, according to my computer. Did anybody get tickets? Guess I’ll try again in the general pre-sale tomorrow. Frustrating.

I didn’t even try for the Asheville show because I kinda figured this would happen. Happens anytime really, for any really good act, at any venue. (smashing pumpkins anyone?) However, I set my intentions to the Atlanta show and got two tickets in row C. Stoked!

I wonder if it would help everyone’s chances to use a super-fast internet connection? Try your local spot with killer dedicated bandwidth.
The UNCA campus seems to have some dedicated T1s (big internet pipes); my connection there is commonly super-fast. There are computer rooms in the library, Karpen, New Hall and Zageir anyone could pop in and use.
I logged on at exactly the same time (12:03 PM), and it was sold out already.
Candy, it must not have been that many. a couple hundred tix?

I got thru to the order section then it crashed!!!! Does anyone have any idea how many were offered in that pre-sale?
