FoAM (Future of Asheville Music) has lined up 25 local music videos for your viewing enjoyment on March 11, 2009 at Cinebarre in Biltmore Square Mall. Congrats to all the bands!
Tickets for the event go on sale Monday March 2 at Orbit DVD, TV Eye, Harvest Records and Static Age.
Advanced Tickets $3. Door tickets $5.
The 6 – 10:00pm screening features 2 hours of music videos, live footage, and documentaries, with a networking intermission.
Films submitted this year feature bands like Toubob Crew, Tyler Ramsey, Arizona, Stephanie’s Id, The Mad Tea Party, Ear Power, The Poles, Laura Reed and Deep Pocket, Angi West, Custard Pie, Buncombe Turnpike, ShapeStatic, Nights Bright Colors, and many more.

The second official FoAM event is MUSIC VIDEO ASHEVILLE, a showcases 25 short films to highlight the pairing of local musicians and filmmakers, taking place on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at the Cinebarre at Biltmore Square Mall. The MVA mission is to: increase the awareness and appreciation of local musicians and local videographers by showcasing their collaborative works in a public event.
