ASHEVILLE – A West Asheville CitiStop is hosting a customer appreciation event on Wednesday to benefit the Western North Carolina Alliance and our efforts to protect and defend water quality in the French Broad River Watershed.
The CitiStop (Shell station) located at the intersection of Patton Avenue and Johnston Boulevard will be the site of the event from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on July 10. This fundraiser is part of the local “Save Our Water” campaign, a partnership between WNCA and Sweetwater Brewing.
Proformance will sell products at $1 each, with 100 percent of proceeds going to the cause.
“Save Our Water” T-shirts will be available for $10 each in the fundraising effort, and there will be some giveaways.
Acropolis Pizza will also offer two slices of pizza and a drink for $5, with a portion of the proceeds going to the “Save Our Water” campaign. RC of Asheville will provide beverage samples.
