Congratulations to Blue Dream Curry House restaurant in downtown Asheville! Here’s the press release from loyal reader Chris:

Blue Dream Curry House (at 81 Patton Ave.) is turning one year old y’all!

To say thanks to Asheville for an incredible first year, we are having bubbles, beer, great food and giveaways all day long on Saturday, May 28 and everyone is invited to the party. Proceeds will be going to support Just Economics and their mission to spread the message of Living Wage Certification and the importance of paying employees a wage that reflects the cost of living in Asheville.

Come on down for giveaways from our amazing Asheville partners, like great local breweries and producers, Blue Dream t-shirts, stickers and more including a raffle for some dynamite prizes!

We are both humbled by and thrilled about the reception we’ve enjoyed over the last year, about the unbelievable support for our Gratuity Free policy, about the giddy response to the deliciousness of our food, about the big smiles and happy hearts of our staff, and about the deep connection we’ve made to our community. We would like to thank our partners who brought us here as well: folks like Farm to Home Milk, Smiling Hara Tempeh, Apple Brandy Farms, Hickory Nut Gap, No Evil Foods, Geraldine’s Bakery, AppalaChai, Blue Blaze Sodas, all the local farms and all the amazing breweries we can’t mention by name but make our food sing even louder when paired up. We can’t thank y’all enough, and here’s to many more anniversary celebrations in the future.

Cheers!

Chris
