Movie stars Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell have been spotted in downtown Asheville the past couple of days. The two are starring in a movie, Three Billboards Outside Ebbings, Missouri, being filmed around Western North Carolina this spring. One of the main locations will be downtown Sylva.
Harrelson stopped to pose for a couple of photos Wednesday around Pack Square Park and in front of the former BB&T building, which is home to production offices (and possible a filming location) for the movie. Rockwell was spotted waiting in line at Hi-Five Coffee on Rankin Street on Thursday morning, according to loyal reader Dusty.
The movie also stars Frances McDormand and Peter Dinklage. It’s being directed by Martin McDonagh.
