The Buncombe County Service Foundation hosts 8 Days of Food Trucks fundraiser at 35 Woodfin Street in downtown Asheville.
Eight local food trucks will participate in the fundraising effort including: The Low Down, Gypsy Queen Cuisine, Doc Brown’s BBQ, Pho Ya Belly, Farm to Fender, Bom Bus, El Kimchi and Taste and See. A percentage of every sale will support children in foster care for the holidays and other special occasions.
“This event benefits children in foster care and also provides local food truck dining options for Woodfin Street area businesses. We appreciate the support of the food trucks in donating a portion of their proceeds for children in foster care.” says Becky Kessel, Executive Director of the Buncombe County Service Foundation.
There will be one food truck per day located at 35 Woodfin Street in Downtown Asheville. The trucks will be serving food from 11 am until 2 pm on December 11 – 13th and December 16th- 20th, rain or shine. They accept cash and credit cards. So bring your friends, coworkers and anyone else who likes to eat and do good while dining with the food truck! And please continue to support the local businesses that support our community!
