Here’s your chance:
The Flat Rock Music Festival has released the official call for entries for their 2007 Song Contest. This nationally recognized contest is part of the Flat Rock Music Festival and features cash prizes and a chance for finalists to compete on the main stage at the festival. This year the contest is sponsored by famecast, an on-line songwriter’s stage. Festival dates are Sept. 28-30th, with the finalists competing on Sept. 29 in Flat Rock.
Finalists will get a free weekend pass to the festival and will perform on the main stage with featured performers The Waybacks, the subdudes, Rod Picott and Barefoot Manner.
Judges will include music professionals from the industry – record producers, music promoters, sound engineers and songwriters. Songs from all categories of music are welcome. There’s no limit to the number of entries a songwriter can submit. Deadline for postmarked entries is Aug. 31.
Details, entry forms and contest rules can be found on the Flat Rock Music Festival web site.
