Work of six honored WNC fiber artists to be on display at Handmade

Here’s the note from loyal reader Judi:

Hi Jason – Western North Carolina was fortunate enough to have 6 fiber artists’ work included in a juried exhibit at Convergence 2012, an international fiber arts convention held every 2 years that just ended in Long Beach, California. It was the largest number of pieces selected from any region in the world, and the 6 artists are bringing their pieces in to show at Wednesday’s Textile Study Group meeting at HandMade. I’ve attached a flier about the meeting and images of some of their work.

It would be great if Ashevegas could give these artists a shout out. The textiles should be hung by about 5pm on Wednesday, August 15th and the public is welcome to attend and take a look. It’s free.

Congratulations! The location is 125 S. Lexington Ave., Suite 101.
