There’s a Steak ‘n Shake in the works for Northridge Commons in Weaverville. There’s been a mention at OurWeaverville.com, and the project is listed on this website. On Twitter, sunra73 says there’s a construction project in the works. Northridge Commons is the Monticello Road shopping center anchored by Wal-Mart in Weaverville.
Steak ‘n Shake is based in Indiana, according to Wikipedia, and has more than 400 company owned eateries, plus another 100 restaurants owned by franchisees. The diners have drive-thrus and are usually open 24 hours. Folks who’ve eaten say the milkshakes are to die for.

Jack of Hearts, Blue Mountain, (Mike’s Grill), Maggie B’s and the Bakery are all great to have in town and make Weaverville a nicer place to be. But Steak n’ Shake?….Booooooo

Yes, there will be a Steak And Shake going in over by the Lowes/Wal Mart parcels. 🙂
It’s been confirmed by the Tribune and Town Council as well. Another rumor, confirmed by a Town Council member, is ALDI wants to open a store at Weaver Village (where Goodwill and Zaxby’s are located).

Now that’s news. Every time I go to Atlanta I stop by and get a delicious Steak Burger. Another great reason to visit Weaverville, Steak Burgers and Shakes!
