Wall Street Music Hall opened New Year’s Eve 1984 and Bo Diddley was the first performer.
Connie Bostic is my mom. Yes, big wonderful shoes to fill, Stella. It might be successful, but to us who know better, never the same as the original Avl Music Hall.

I believe the full name of the original one at 46 Wall Street was, "Thomas Woof's Asheville Music Hall."
I actually worked at the original Asheville Music Hall owned by the incomparable Connie Bostic. Stella Blue has some big, wonderful shoes to fill by taking on that name!
Thanks, ashevillain, and thanks for the reminder on the predecessor to Stella Blue. About 25 years ago, there was a music room called the Asheville Music Hall. It was on Wall Street, where Jubilee! is now.
