Windows on Pack Square Park

Check this out. The old Hayes & Hopson building in downtown Asheville is being renovated into Pack’s Tavern (complete with dozens of beer taps) by owner Stewart Coleman, who promised that the building would have numerous windows looking out onto the new Pack Square Park. Sure enough, crews have been at work literally carving windows out of the brick wall facing the park.

I am amazed that the Historical Society has not "flipped" because the historic property is being altered …… call the Wiccans, let’s protest! ; )
