Legendary DJ duo Thievery Corporation has made quite a name for themselves in the electronic music world over the last several decades. Now one half of the chilled-out, down temp pair, DJ Rob Garza, is playing a special solo DJ set at the Orange Peel on Friday April 18th, joined by Asheville’s own Molly Parti.

Garza has been touring solo the last few years, spinning his own special blend of deep house and new wave disco, and his last full release, the Remixes LP, features his remixed takes on tracks by Blondie, Tycho, Miguel Migs, Gogol Bordello and others – adding a low-end groove and his signature hazy, spaced out rhythm to the well known hits, putting a Thievery spin on the sound.
