Yes, this is what you think it is. Our. First. Bottle. Release. Time of sales, place of sales, amount of sleeping space on the sidewalk, you ask? March 1st, sales begin at 12pm and, well, the APD will have their say about the last one. Don’t miss out on our very first bottle release as we sell the first of our GABF gold medal winning Serenity 100% Brettanomyces Farmhouse Ale. See ya’ll there!
Where will you be able to find the bottles? WW says they’ll eventually be sold in “select bottle shops all the way to Raleigh. But first batch will probably only be at the pub.” Mark that date on your calendar. It’s gonna be crazy at Wicked Weed on that day. Wicked Weed bottle background here.
But wait. There’s more:
No one could be more excited than Sir Ryan The Pounder that Wicked Weed Brewing is now instating stein Mondays. Starting this Monday, we will be offering steins of any non-barrel aged or sour beers 6% ABV or under. Already have a stein from Oktoberfest? Bring it in and your refill is $8. Need one of these fancy glasses? $20 gets you the glass and your first beer. Who knows, come around one of these mondays and you might spot The Pounder in his happiest and most natural state…
That certainly sounds like fun. And yet… there’s more. Word on the street is that Wicked Weed is planning to throw a sour beer festival this year. More details as I get them.

The bottling line they bought is semi-portable, meaning they can move it around the brewery to where they need it. Chances are, they will do the majority of the bottling in the building behind them. That’s where the sour beers are carbonated to prevent cross-contamination, and those are the ones they will release first in bottles.
Where are they bottling?
Bobby, not sure. I’ll ask Cliff.
