Forbes ranking
WLOSers were desperate for some news on Sunday, so Michelle Boudin went surfing on the Internets and found that Forbes.com posted a report four days ago that North Carolina ranked No. 3 in a ranking of the best states for doing business. Ashvegas ranked No. 24 as the best metro for biz.
Michelle went and talked to the president of Diamond Brand, who said yes, Ashvegas is a great place to do business.
Rain out
Russ “Beefcake” Bowen and Julie Blunder talked about the gloomy weather and noted that all the rain forced the Asheville Tourists to postpone their double-header scheduled for Sunday. The messy weather generally sucked.

There was a back-up on I-40… One dude stabbed another dude somewhere… That was about it.

Pretty weak as a lead story, but, even at four days old, they still managed to beat the AC-T and the local radio stations (which are running with the story today) to it.
