Well, we haven’t been paying too close attention. Victoria Dunkelhead has returned to her noon duties, Bob Cobweb the short-timer is counting down his days till retirement and WLOSers keep on keepin’ on. Here are a few tidbits from them, just off the top:
-A toddler drowned in a backyard pool. She was plucked from the above-ground pool, but died in the hospital a day later.
-Two wolf dogs are terrorizing folks in one neighborhood. They howl at night and they’ve been blamed for the death of at least one dog.
-It’s hot outside. It will rain sometime next week.
-The Smashing Pumpkins will start a nine-show run at the Orange Peel in downtown Ashvegas with their first concert tonight. If anybody has any Billy Corgan sightings, or gets photos of him around town, please send ’em our way so we can share ’em. We’ll do the same.
