The folks at visitweaverville.com report all kinds of cool business activity happening in Weaverville. Check it out:

Hi Jason.  Thought you might be interested in some Weaverville new business news.  There’s quite a bit happening out here, with little (at the moment at least) involving chain stores…
La Carreta is open. They did a fantastic job remodeling the old Movie Gallery space. Sorry for the circumstances that led to it, but glad to have them here.
Blue Mountain Pizza and Brew Pub officially unveiled their first brews last week. Their beers are really, really good.  A great addition to the Beer City USA scene, IMHO. (Note: I checked with the Beer Guy aka Tony Kiss, who tells me that Blue Mountain has not officially released any beer yet because they’re still awaiting permits.)
The old Secret Garden Spa is now the Wysteria Inn and meeting place. www.wysteriainn.com
The Verge Design Studio has opened an office space in the back of Maggie B’s.  They do both residential and commercial work. www.thevergedesignstudio.com
Cre’perie & Cafe is moving in next to Home Gear (in the space previously occupied by Maggie B’s).  They’ll be featuring both sweet and savory crepes, local coffee, tea, and more.  They’re building their kitchen now and hope to be open by the end of the month.
Stacie’s Personal Care Services moved out of the old fire station building. I’ve heard a coffee shop will be moving in the vacated space, but I don’t have any details.

Swung by La Carreta for lunch Saturday, they haven’t missed a beat. I was surprised at how nicely they renovated their new digs. The bar and outside patio are especially nice.

Do they have good food there, and are the prices reasonably. I have a nephew in pooler georgia, and he said when he gets to come up he wants to try it out, I have not been there yet
