Unfinished project

Stain’d
I spent all afternoon yesterday staining my cedar peragola. I’m not going to show you the other half, on the other side of the patio, because it’s not done yet.
I built this thing a year ago, and it was high time I got around to protecting the untreated cedar with some good old fashioned chemicals because the bugs were eating the hell out of it. There’s some type of big, black hornet or wasp that had chewed incessantly on my project, ripping little strips of wood right off the top, like a wood planer.

Thanks Dad.
EM, thanks too. Every keeps telling me about the bug repellent, but can’t tell me what it is. Name? Where to buy?

Aren’t you the multi-talented guy? Very nice. There’s some nasty bug repellent you can spray to keep the wasps from eating your wood. Or you can let loose a bunch of crickets who will help control the wood-eating bugs.
