More than 55 organizations are scheduled to participate in UNC Asheville’s Internship and Job Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, in UNC Asheville’s Highsmith University Union. Community members and UNC Asheville alumni are invited to join students to learn more about full-time and part-time jobs and professional internships. The event is free and open to the public.
Participants include the State Employees Credit Union, Asheville Police Department, Mission Hospitals, Buncombe County Schools, the Biltmore Company and many more local organizations and businesses. Also, Call to Serve: Partnership for Public Service, a nonprofit agency in Washington, D.C., is sponsoring a representative from the federal government to discuss governmental internship and full-time job opportunities throughout the nation. The Internship and Job Fair provides a valuable chance for participants to network and exchange information with various industry and non-profit representatives.
