From a couple of Craigslist postings:
First there’s this:
Uma is an 8 year old Shepherd Husky mix. She’s a great hiking dog, protective of those she loves, and very obedient. Uma gets along with cats and other dogs, kids and families, is house broken, and has been spayed. Her owner has gone to rehab and left her with me. I am a single mom and can’t give Uma the love and care that she needs. She needs a foster parent until her dad is finished with rehab, or a permanent loving home. She is a sweet, faithful dog and it’s hard to see her looking so down these days.
Next, there’s this:
Bella is an older black lab, Rottweiler mix and a wonderful companion. Her owner has gone to rehab and she needs a loving foster or permanent home. Bella is wonderful with children, gets along with other dogs and cats, is house broken, and has been spayed. She would also be a great companion to an older person. If you speak to her, or ask her a question, she will kindly speak back. She’s had a good life and is a very calm older girl now. Bella is an easy dog and deserves love and care. I am a single working mom and cannot give her what she needs.
