"I support the tea party movement and wish them well, but they are going to have to get better at determining what’s really worth throwing their weight behind."

With your help, I’m sure we will. Call me.

Go Asheville Momma! This whole thing has been blown out of proportion by the Asheville Tea Party leadership. The ATP leadership puts out a call and the sheep follow.

Sweet Jesus, people around here need to pick up some new hobbies.

I can’t get my panties in a twist over the airport paying (with AIRPORT FEES, not our taxes) board members to go to an aviation conference. Maybe it looks tacky to go to Hawaii while the rest of us are freezing our tushes off, but that’s about it. All this over-the-top angst is out of proportion to the situation.

I support the tea party movement and wish them well, but they are going to have to get better at determining what’s really worth throwing their weight behind.

Good for them confronting Susan Fisher about her outrageous winter vacation in Hawaii courtesy of the Asheville Regional Airport Authority. She deserves the scrutiny and the public ridicule.

I’m guessing she won’t be on the Airport board much longer. I can’t wait until the entire board has its meeting next month!
