Stephen Colbert spotted at Carl Sandburg Home in Flat Rock

Late night TV host and comedian Stephen Colbert was spotted around Flat Rock this past weekend.

On Saturday, Colbert tweeted a photo of himself at the Carl Sandburg Home national historic site in Flat Rock. Colbert also visited the Flat Rock Village Bakery, stopping to pose for a photo with the owner. He was also seen at the local Kilwin’s, according to another social media post.

The Hendersonville Lightning online news site reported several sightings of Colbert in the area.

On his Twitter account, which has some 14 million followers, Colbert was encouraging people to share photos of their July Fourth celebrations with the hashtag #AmericanGreatness.
