Ironic that a band named Schooner would get rained out, but that’s what happened at Ashvegas’ Mountain Sports Festival Friday night. So the band took the stage again Saturday morning and jammed. They sounded great.

Is there anything from Chapel Hill that’s not the greatest? I will give you this: The Schooner in the red dress bears a remarkable resemblance to the Rug Girl, doesn’t she? Speaking of which, have you seen the new Rug Girl spots on TV – she’s teasing a lot of cleavage when she bends to emphasize one of those "only 999" carpets. At the rate her tops are diminishing, she’s not kidding when she says, "See you soon at Rug & Decor…" Grrrrr.
