Mary, I’m glad my labor over roses is appreciated by someone!
I mean other than the photog, of course…
I have nurtured this Don Juan for about 4 years and despite numerous aphid and Japanese beetle invasions, Neem oli treatments and every pesticide known to Lowe’s, it endures outside the bedroom window, unlike some of my 10 or so other rosebushes. Get yourself a Don Juan — it’s velvety, not too thorny and smells lovely. And it’s apparently hard to kill…which is good at a house with Lucy Elizabeth running amok!

This photo appeals to me very, very much. Could you blow it up, frame it and send to Ohio so I can hang it over my fireplace ?! Thanks !!! Mary
