Chef Katie Button and her partner, maitre’d Felix Meana, are getting married today and have been celebrating in grand style. The two are part of the force that is Curate, a tapas restaurants on Biltmore Avenue this year and has quickly established itself as one of the best in Asheville.

We are wrapping up 2011 with a bang…family, xmas, a special new years at Curate…oh and did I mention, I’m getting married in the middle of it all. What an amazing time in my life!
Getting hitched in less than 72 hours to my best friend, love of my life, and business partner…what an amazing year this has been!
And from Katie’s mom, Elizabeth:
The beginning of a wonderful wedding celebration began tonight, at Curate. Felix’s family and Katie’s family, 22 guests in all, dined on our traditional American Christmas Feast.
