Sovereign Remedies, Asheville’s newest craft cocktail bar, is now open at the corner of North Market and Walnut Streets in downtown Asheville. It is the work of Charles Hodge, the talented former bar manager at Bull and Beggar. Look for delicious “farm to bar” cocktails and Sunday “star-tenders,” featuring guest bartenders such as Elliott Moss (last weekend) and Malcolm Knighten (this Sunday.)

bartender in flip flops? (fifth picture)
I’m more concerned about the pink top in the same photo…
Tried to go there last night and it was closed. Sign on the door said to have patience while they prepare for their grand opening. So those photos must have been taken for some special invitees-only occasion. Did not see any info on Facebook page or website of when they are open to all. I don’t understand what’s going on.
It’s a great space and the food is terrific.
