Here’s what Paperboy says about itself:

“Conceived in 2002 as a recording project to try and recreate the energy and excitement of late 70’s New Wave and Punk rock music, Paperboy has far transcended its original mission. Though remaining true to the original philosophy of rejecting any influences of 80’s synth rock, 90’s alternative and grunge, and new millennium pop punk, Paperboy has still added a timeless element of underground rock which, when all is said and done, can only be described as pure pop music. It’s the songs that break through the barriers and styles. “Only on the Outside”, “Trapped (by a geek)”, and “Monster Movie”, to name just three, are supported by melodies so strong that one listen is usually all it takes to hook the listener in.

“No angry young men or women here. If any aggression is detected, it’s for sure only in the approach to playing their instruments. There are no axes to grind and no messages to try to save, or destroy, the world. Unless of course the world can be saved by waking up in morning with an awesome song in your head. That song having been heard the night before at a rock and roll show which simply blew you away.”
