Northside Grill & Bar along Merrimon Avenue in Asheville has closed. Looks like the business closed a few days ago. There’s a “for lease” number in the window, 255-4801.
I’m calling the building owners to find out what might be next for the 8,000 square foot restaurant space that’s up for grabs on one of Asheville’s busiest corridors.

Thanks for the update! We finally were able to make out the name ‘Appalachian Tavern’ on one of the permits through the window. Looking forward to having another option in our neighborhood!
There’s some demo going on at the site, and a building permit posted. Any idea what’s going on there?
Modaddys is now closed as well
Noticed that when I drove by Monday. Always liked that place because the upstairs often made for a pretty decent karaoke venue. -=WL=-
