New store, Splurge, set to open in Asheville

Splurge offers “distinctive lighting and vintage furnishings.” There’s a preview party from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, March 28 at 123-B Roberts St. in Asheville.

Is Splurge going in the space that Marston Blow’s Ceramic Song Studio was kicked out of after being there for 16 years?

Jeff, I don’t think so, but I’ll check. Last I heard, Marston’s space was going to another artist.

Constance Williams took over the old Marston Blow space. Splurge will be on the backside, dock side.

Jeff, he took over my studio, Element Ceramics, adjacent to the brewery. I was displaced to Depot St.
