A new national beer festival is coming to Asheville’s U.S. Cellular Center. Details will be released on Friday, according to Chris Corl, the center’s general manager. Corl declined to talk about any other details of the event Friday.

The new fest is the second new beer festival to be announced in recent weeks. Just last month, the Asheville Brewer’s Alliance announced it would host a new beer event on Feb. 27 at The Venue in downtown Asheville. The event will feature local craft brewers.

The other big beer happening in Asheville that’s coming right up is the long-awaited opening of New Belgium Brewing’s new East Coast brewery on Craven Street in West Asheville. The brewery’s tasting room, known as the Liquid Center, will open at the end of February, and there’s a special grand opening event set for early April. There will also be a grand opening event and 25th anniversary celebration in August.
