The old Howard Johnson’s motor lodge near Biltmore Village just south of Asheville is set to be demolished in the next month or two. A spokesman for the property said last week that a new Holiday Inn would be built on the hill overlooking Biltmore Village.

Check out a few photos of the Howard Johnson’s. And addition is at least 30 years old, the spokesman said, with the original building probably more like 50 years old.
