There are plans in the works to turn the former Elff auto repair shop at 151 Coxe Ave. on Asheville’s South Slope into a new bar and distillery.

The property sits between the Wicked Weed Brewing’s Funkatorium and Swannanoa Cleaners. The property includes a building designed to service vehicles, but the plan is to build a new structure that would including a kitchen and full bar, as well as roof-top seating. The style of the building will be Prohibition-era. The bar will feature modern and classic cocktails, a full wine list and beer taps.
