At a downtown Ashvegas bar on Saturday night: a geeked-out white boy with a hardcore Chicago accent, who was talking about working at the Biltmore Estate.
“Something was happening at the Biltmore today. I heard that an NBA player with the Clippers rented out the estate, that he put down a $200,000 deposit. You know, I noticed a lot more black people at the winery, too. They were all really well-dressed. And polite, too.”
Well-dressed, polite black people??? Shocking!

There was some kind of party at Tressa’s a few weeks ago, and the crowd, which was mostly black, had spilled out onto the sidewalk, where they were dancing and singing "My Girl" enthusiastically. My thought? O, black people can be geeky too!
