Here’s the info:
Moogfest, Asheville’s new electronic music festival taking place Halloween weekend, needs local artists and designers to create a poster and submit art for a poster exhibit that’s part of the festival.
With performances from Devo, Thievery Corporation, the Disco Biscuits, MGMT, Massive Attack, Jonsi, Big Boi, Caribou and dozens more, Moogfest (rhymes with vogue fest) is set to become a major new East Coast music festival, with attendees from all over the country.
Moogfest wants posters that can become collector’s items: inspired works of art that capture the spooky mood of Halloween weekend and the music of this major new festival celebrating the creativity and innovation of electronic music pioneer Bob Moog (1934-2005), a longtime Asheville resident.
One grand prize winner receives a $200 licensing fee and two weekend passes to Moogfest ($300 value). Twelve other winners will have their art displayed in the Moogfest art gallery on display in downtown Asheville throughout the weekend.
Visit http://www.moogfest.com to learn more about the festival. The contest is free to enter, and there is no limit on how many times you can submit your work.

I agree with pseudonymous, what other business would someone run a contest for to receive work, and then the prize is far below market value for designers.
"One grand prize winner receives a $200 licensing fee–"
So it's a request for spec work with a $500 "prize" to the lucky winner. Gotta love the respect being shown to creatives there.
Perhaps they should pay the performers on the same schedule: everyone shows up for free, the best band gets a prize, and the others get the warm fuzzy feeling of having made an effort.
Whose design is this? It's awesome – artist deserves some cred!
