Looking for a new holiday brew? Try Asheville Brewing’s Ninjabread Man porter

If you’re looking for a new holiday beer treat for your tastebuds, give Asheville Brewing Company’s Ninjabread  Man Porter a try. This is the second year that the brewery is pushing its holiday brew. Think of it as Asheville Brewing’s answer to the ever-popular Highland Brewing Cold Mountain Ale. Here’s the press release:

Asheville Brewing Company will release its widely anticipated Ninjabread Man Porter for the second year on October 31, 2015, on draft and in 22-ounce bottles.

The Asheville Brewing brew team works closely with the Asheville Pizza and Brewing chefs to hand-craft a concoction of fresh vanilla beans, toasted cinnamon sticks, raisins and caramelized ginger. This saliva-inducing syrup is then added to Asheville Brewing’s World Beer Cup gold medal winner and year-round flagship beer, Ninja Porter. The all fresh ingredients produce the insane taste sensation of a liquid gingerbread cookie in the seasonal Ninja Bread Man Porter, a beer that stealthily kicks like a Ninja at 5.6 percent ABV.

“We thought it’d be fun to brew a holiday-spiced ale, but when we first released the Ninjabread man, we had no idea how popular it would be,” says Asheville Brewing Company co-head brewer, Pete Langheinrich. “People have been asking when it’s coming back for months. We feel it’s a perfect beer for cooler holiday weather. Ninja Bread Man makes a delicious dessert beer or complements a savory meal—whether it’s turkey or tofu.”

The 22-ounce bottles will be for sale at all Asheville Brewing Company locations and at Asheville bottle shops as well as some regional grocery and convenience stores. Look for the Ninja Bread Man on draft at Asheville watering holes, bars and restaurants, and, of course, at all Asheville Brewing Company locations.
