Let the madness begin Jason Sandford 16 years ago Share Winthrop defeated UNCA handily this morning, earning themselves a fourth-straight Big South Conference championship and a ticket to the NCAA Tournament. It was a tough loss for the Bulldogs, who had such a great season this year.
