The Land of the Sky Barbershop Chorus, which draws members from a six-county area of western North Carolina, is offering a unique way to send your sweetheart a Valentine’s Day gift. On Sunday, February 13 & Monday, February 14, quartets will be delivering Singing Valentines throughout Asheville and Buncombe County and also in Haywood and Henderson counties. You can request the time and place for the presentation. The quartets will sing in restaurants, offices, homes, hospitals, schools—practically anywhere you desire.
“Live harmony really does inspire the soul,” says Claude Kayler, Asheville resident and member of the Singing Valentine delivery team. “A warm a cappella love serenade has a marvelous effect—laughter, blushes, tears of joy. When delivered unexpectedly by a sharply dressed and well-rehearsed barbershop quartet, the moment is simply wonderful.”

Every Singing Valentine includes a serenade, at least one freshly cut live rose from Rose Petals Florist in Asheville and a professionally designed Valentine greeting card bearing your personal message. The value-added choices cost a little more and include truffles and cordials, more roses and Land of the Sky barbershop show tickets for April 16th at Asheville Community Theater.
