The Lexington Avenue Arts & Fun Festival (LAAFF) needs a logo! Are you our special logo fairy? If so, we want your fabulous creative input. We are offering a cash prize of $250.
The 7th annual Lexington Ave. Arts and Fun Festival takes place on Sept. 7 in downtown Asheville. This fun filled event draws over 10,000 people onto the Lexington Ave for one day each year to celebrate our vibrant creative community.
Rules for Submissions:
Since we will be printing this wonderful logo from our special logo fairy, we would also appreciate designs submitted as fairly high resolution jpegs (approx. 2000 × 2000 pixels) or tifs that can be opened in Photoshop or even vector based eps formats that can be opened in Illustrator.
1) It should include the acronym “LAAFF”, if not the whole spelled out name.
2) It may also include our catchphrase “All-Local-All-Original”
3) It should look really cool.
Legal disclaimer: your submission becomes the exclusive property of Arts 2 People to mangle however we see fit. (Arts2People will try to maintain the artistic integrity of the submitted designs but may need to make adjustments for artwork production purposes.)
Please note: this is just a logo, not the poster art. The logo will be used on business cards, on the website, at the top of the poster (sometimes), in advertising (sometimes), on the beer mugs, on the t-shirt back, on balloons, etc. And yes, you will get credit wherever feasible.
